A Slice of Americana

Steve Hartman, CBS reporter and newsman, hosts Everybody Has a Story, a show that offers a glimpse into the lives of everyday Americans.  Hartman has traveled the country, letting his dart land on a U.S. map to guide his destination, and a random finger in the phone book select the person who will ‘tell their tale.’

Every two weeks Hartman is on the road for another adventure.  The youngest interviewee?  A 5-year old boy in Tennessee who likes to float balloons to his Grandma in Heaven.  The oldest?  An 87-year old in Louisiana who still does laundry for her son.  Hey, I’m up for adoption!

Everybody Has a Story airs every other Thursday on the CBS evening news and every Friday on the CBS early show.
