Ode to the Butternut Squash

Tis the season.  Jason Lee Miller, staff writer for www.webpronews.com, has noticed a 279% website hit increase for butternut squash.  Other vegetable recipe sites have seen a significant increase, this holiday season, as well according to Hitwise.

Miller was so moved by his reporting, he penned this tribute to the squishy vegetable:

An Ode to the Buttermilk Squash

Oh, buttermilk squash
Where did you come from
With your butternuttiness
And your squashy way?
My mothers say
Searching is futile
“The squash will find you,”
She says with a slap
And I hope you do.
