Vibrating Vests and Virtual Chicken Hugs?  Oh my!

Scientists in Singapore are working on just that.  Working on what, you ask.  Glad you asked that question.  The scientists are searching ways to “transmit the sense of touch” via vibration jackets for chickens that are controlled with a computer, giving the chicken the sense of being touched.

Researchers at Nanyang Technical University (NYU) reported their findings to The Strait Times.  Very cool!
