From the Literary Corner

Dear Readers of Writer Online,

            In the upcoming issues of Writer Online, we will be showcasing national and international poets, fiction and creative nonfiction writers.   Our ambition is to present writers at various stages of their writing career, from the promising debut to those who are celebrated.Any work presented in this showcase may be work that has been published elsewhere as long as the author retains rights to the work and credits the original publication.

            We want this e-zine to provide our readership with helpful articles on the writer's craft, as well as market listings and news, and interviews.   As in the past, we will be inviting submissions for possible publication.   The following are specific guidelines:

Reading periods: September-December and   February-June.

Please do not submit more than once in each submission period. Submit your work within the body of an email.   Do not send as a word document.   Response to your work will occur on email.

Please send original, unpublished work for the open submissions.  

* Poetry, 3-6 poems, open to any style.

* Fiction, interested in the short-short story, as well as stories up to 3,000 words.

* Creative nonfiction, interested in the short-short essay, as well as essays up to 3,000 words.

              We're looking forward to a long- running   and prosperous Writer Online.
