Up, up, and away, in my beautiful, my beautiful balloon!!
For hundreds of years, hot air balloons have graced our imaginations
as much as they have graced the skies above us. They weave their
romantic notions into our subconscious, only to be retrieved
in the stories, poems, and novels we write.
For this puzzle, we ask you to belly down to the far recesses
of your minds and name as many references to hot air ballooning
in poetry and literature as you can. Whoever comes up with the
most references wins!
Submit your answers in an email, and make sure to include your
name, address, and country in your entry. Send your answers to: puzzles@writeronline.us DEADLINE: midnight,
