Blogs: Communication Tool or Fad?

Ninety media, marketing, and public relations leaders met at the New Communications Forum held at the Silverado Resort in Napa, California to discuss the pros and cons of blogging for professional communicators in everyday business practices.

The Forum was an intense inquiry into the uses and ramifications of blogging as a tool for us and our jobs with advanced discussion covering policies and ethics.

New Communications Forum will be evolving its eNewsletter into a full-fledged blogzine to be published twice a month. Two key areas of concern are ROI and ethics.

The answer to the question as to whether blogging is a communication tool or a fad becomes obvious as a result of the Forum. Blogging will continue be used as a powerful communication tool in every day business on a much larger scale.
