And when we say agonized, we mean agonized. But we finally came to a decision, and now it is time to announce to you the winner of our $850 value publishing package through MY-E-BOOK.com
A hearty congratulations goes to David Macks.
Here is the Introduction to his novel:
If a story of an event is told only once, then it could be just that, a story. If it is told once from two different sources it could still be considered just a story. What if it is told by over 270 cultures? Maybe, just maybe it could have some truth in it. This is the case with the flood of Noah in the bible. In over 270 accounts there are certain things that stay the same: There is a flood, one set of parents and three sons, each with a spouse and a whole lot of animals survive.
Maybe there are that many accounts because there really was a flood. If it is true, then what was the world like before the flood? How different was it than ours, how different were the people than us?
For 14-year-old Ben Javan, the story of the flood of Noah has been just that, a story. At 14 most things of the bible are just stories. That is about to change. Ben gets to go and stay with his eccentric Uncle in Alaska for the summer. When he gets there things are not what he expects. There are strange people there.
Follow along with him as he learns about a strange new world, about himself, and about the cost of being a friend.
