In the province of Southern India, if you are a tax dodger—watch out!   Hired drum beaters will play at your door night and day, until those taxes are completely paid.   It has been reported that after the first week of this punishment for the delinquent taxpayers, 18% of those on the list paid their taxes in full!   Kind of makes an April 15 th deadline plus extensions look tame, doesn't it?
