WWJR? What Would Jesus Read?

The March 12 th hostage drama with Ashley Smith being held captive in Atlanta, Georgia, by fugitive-at-large Brian Nichols, has spiked sales of The Purpose Driven Life by author Rick Warren .   Ashley Smith encouraged her captor to give himself up and Nichols did just that.   He exclaimed that Ashley Smith was “an angel sent from God.”   All the time Smith was being held against her will, she kept her cool and quoted excerpts from the book The Purpose Driven Life.

Since March 12th, author Rick Warren and his wife are planning a religious mission to Africa.   They have no media appearances planned.   You just can't buy that kind of publicity!
