iPod, youPod--President George W. Bush pod’s?

The President’s twin daughters gave their father an iPod for his birthday last July.  He likes to listen to tunes while riding his mountain bike along the dusty trails at his ranch in Crawford, Texas.  Just what does he listen to?  Enquiring minds want to know!  For starters, he is big on country and western tunes.  No surprise there.  It has been reported that President Bush is a big fan of “Brown Eyed Girl,” by Van Morrison, along with popular music from the 60’s and 70’s.

Joe Levy, deputy managing editor for Rolling Stone magazine, sums up the President’s tunes on his iPod as:  “Boomer rock ‘n’ roll.  It’s safe, it’s reliable.  The Sex Pistols it’s not.”
