Bad News Is Good News (for this publisher at least)

American Products Publishing, has two books on the market, that are doing well in the sales department.  “Hurricane Charley,” (brisk sales in Florida) and “9/11, Day of Tragedy,” are top sellers among the titles for this publisher.

Shangle, owner of American Products Publishing, markets his books not only through traditional retail chains and online outlets, he also turns to unconventional methods of book sales including street retailers and magazine vendors.  He maintains that pictorial accounts are not expensive to produce and “will sell well, if you shove them under somebody’s nose.”
