These Electronics
by Owen Kingflower
Such urgency, my poet,
in my boundless passion
that I put it down
first and last
fingers flying
in this very email.
No paper trail,
no black ink drying,
only the now
of microchips,
ephemeral dots
and invisible dashes,
bursts of pleasing radiation.
For this is love in the computer age,
there's nothing but nothing
all over the page.
