December 14, 2004
Welcome, writers!
This is our first JustMarkets biweekly newsletter, and I'm so glad you're here.
With all of us gearing up for the holiday season, this month promises to be wild. Don't forget to jot down future article ideas as you start your shopping (the perfect present for that hard-to-please mother-in-law); organize your decorating scheme (braided ribbons: cheap 'n easy garlands); or plan your menu (secret, delicious ways to cut festive-food calories).
When it comes time to send out Christmas queries and articles in June next year, you'll have piles of material to choose from!
By the way, if you're like me, you love hearing the goods on a market from a fellow writer. Well, subscriber Shelley Bueche has this to say about one featured market:
I am glad you listed Just Labs magazine. I have written for them in the past (for the In Your Debt column) and the editor, Jason Smith, is wonderful. Moreover, he is the best editor I have worked with.
If any of you have insights to share, please let me know and I'll publish them for everyone's benefit.
As for this issue of JustMarkets, from authentic Christians to reformed Jews, from alpine climbing aficionados to businessmen in beautiful British Columbia, there are readers out there waiting just for you.
Good writing everyone!
Stephanie Olsen
Publisher/JustMarkets
P.S. TELL A FRIEND! What a nice gift a year's subscription to Just Markets Daily makes! Your writer friend could benefit from the fastest markets online, saving countless hours of searching and scrounging all over the internet for paying freelance markets for writers.
