A JustMarkets Publication
Welcome, writers!
Pays on publication. What a dreaded (but frequent) phrase the hapless freelancer faces! I mean, after all, once the thing's been published, is the editor *ever* in as much of a hurry to cut the check as you are to receive it?
One writer has an interesting solution: suggest dropping your fee by 15 percent (or more) IF you're paid on acceptance. Some magazines actually appreciate this economy and will jump at the offer: and it's money in your pocket up-front, no chasing, no "forgetting", no suddenly going out of business (!).
In this issue of JustMarkets, from practical Christian psychological applications to New Age retailing, from clay-baked potters to child vegans and literary travelers, there are readers out there waiting just for you.
Good writing everyone – see you in the New Year!

P.S. TELL A FRIEND! What a nice gift a year's subscription to Just Markets Daily makes! Your writer friend could benefit from the fastest markets online, saving countless hours of searching and scrounging all over the internet for paying freelance markets for writers.

Psychology for Living
Quarterly practical, applied Christian psychology magazine/publication, with one full issue and three limited editions per year, published by the Narramore Christian Foundation. Publishes articles that apply sound biblical and psychological principles to the everyday issues of life and that cover a wide range of personal and relational needs.
Articles need to be written with lay people in mind so technical terminology needs to be kept to a minimum. Also please avoid "christianeze" and suggestions that have a "preachy" tone.
We offer an honorarium of $200 for articles between 1,200 to 1,700 words and $125 for articles less than 1,200 words. For previously published articles, we pay $75.
Submit articles on spec via e-mail as Word attachments to rwi@ncfliving.org
