Nebraska Author Selected for Hall of Fame: September 25, 2003 - Central City, Nebraska: Because of Mr. Ruble's extensive accomplishments in law enforcement and as an author, his career successes have earned him the prestigious honor of being selected as a member of the Class of 2003 of the Brenau Alumni Hall of Fame. Bobby's name is being added to the Hall of Fame plaque along with several other Brenau alumni worthy of the honor.

For close to a decade, Bobby Ruble was the Chief of Police in Kennesaw, Georgia. While working full-time at his law enforcement job, Bobby enrolled in night classes at Brenau College in Gainesville, Georgia. At the age of 51, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.

The induction ceremony is scheduled in Gainesville on October 23, 2003 at the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts with President John S. Burd presiding as Master of Ceremonies.

Residents of Central City, Nebraska, Bobby and his wife, Kam, write psychological thriller/mystery novels. Global Authors Publications recently released the Rubles' latest novel, "Black Rosebud: Have no Mercy II" which is already receiving outstanding reviews.
