Exercising the Left Brain

by Mary Anne Donovan

One of the ways to beat the summer slumps is to get the left brain in gear, and you can do that with a Soduko. These puzzles are really hot, so we thought we'd get away from the words for one issue, and give you a crack at one.

Here's what you have to do: Each row, column and 3*3 grid must contain the digits 1 to 9, but only once. And if you want some more help with how to do it, check out this site: http://www.sudoku.com/

Submit your answers in an email (Just copy the puzzle and paste it into your email, or if necessary, an attachment), and make sure to include your name, address, and country in your entry. Send your answers to: puzzles@writer-on-line.com

The winner will receive $25 of writing software and his or her name published in our next issue of Writer Online.

DEADLINE:midnight, Thursday, June 23, 2005
