1,001 Reasons to Read This Blurb: Are Writers Number Crunchers?

Jim Walsh, reporter for the Courier Post out of South Jersey, thinks so. He had already realized that magazines jumped on the numbers bandwagon with engaging titles as: “Top 10 Summer Styles” and “101 Ways to Scare Your Husband in Bed.” But now, Walsh is witnessing this trend in the media. Book titles as: “Mothers Know Best: 1001 Tips on Pregnancy, Birth, and the First Year,” published by Small Potatoes Press. “One Hundred Wishes,” by Rohan Candappa. And now, a new cookbook by TV chef Mario Batali with 327 recipes to try and make at home, including, stuffed turkey neck. Oh boy, anyone getting hungry now?
There are at least 50 reasons why I should keep writing and you should keep reading, but I’ll stop—Now!
