Who Needs Botox?
by Shelley Bueche
A study conducted by Chicago’s Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation reveals that men, when wearing masks filled with grapefruit aroma, estimated women to be 6 years younger than their biological age. When men wore the masks filled with cucumber or grape odors, they noticed no change in perception. Moreover, women who wore the grapefruit masks, or broccoli, banana, spearmint leaves or lavender-filled masks noticed no change in perception—only men who wore grapefruit masks were susceptible to this. It is suggested that women who wish to look younger carry grapefruit spray with them at all times, just in case. Who knew?
