Visual Thesaurus
Special announcement by Corney Vanhelden, your publisher
Why Visual Thesaurus is specially for you !!
Ever heard of the words, procrastinating, ambidextrous, visceral, predicate, perspicacity, polyphony? Of course some will ring a bell, some you will know right away, but sometimes you come upon a word that you haven’t even heard of and don’t know what it means.
Ever asked yourself, is this word too difficult for my audience; how can I better describe it concisely and understandably?
Ever want to use a word in your writing of which you know the meaning but can’t find the word itself?
Wouldn’t it be handy to have a tool on line that gives you all those features that I just described above?
When I write my articles for my different kinds of businesses, I run into this problem all the time. It should be mentioned that I am not native English born, so English is my second language.
But since I discovered Visual Thesaurus, which is the solution I am talking about, my writing has become much smoother and my correcting editor even compliments me on my improved English.
Here is an example of how it looks:
The Visual Thesaurus offers stunning visual displays of the English language. Looking up a word creates an interactive visual map with your word in the center of the display, connected to related words and meanings. Click on these words or meanings to explore further, or .

The program will not only tell you the meaning of the word, but also whether it is a noun, an adjective, a verb or an adverb. The way it is displayed on screen is a joy for the eye.
I have bought the online version for myself, so I will always have the latest updates, and I have a library at my service of some 14,5000 words in the English language; beta testing for other languages is under way.
I can assure you, the real words and the real language will sooth your lips and your writer’s heart will embrace this piece of software forever. IMHO, every writer worth his/her salt should have this available at desktop level.
Do take a look and mark my words, you will love it. (I do and I’m a hard sell!) It’s a bargain for all that it gives.
