Eureka . . . I’ve Got It

Have you ever experienced a Zen-like moment, where everything around you seemed to stand still and all of your thoughts became a little clearer?  I believe that we encounter moments in our lives that open us up to something grander than the idea of the self.  Perhaps some would label this experience as an encounter with God, or another spiritual being.  Putting aside labels, tell about your Zen-like moment.  Describe what happened around you, the thoughts you were thinking, and any actions you took “in light” of this moment.  Within 500 words or less, try to express your “aha” moment; the second in time where you came to a realization that changed your perceptive on an aspect of life, or life itself.
